METHOD OF GLAZING
Dry glazed with glazing tape and silicon to edge of DG unit and glazing rebate, external timber beads to head and jambs with Exitex bead at cill (BS6262), Alternative Timber Drainage Bead to Cill.
HARDWARE
Top hung Securistyle Defender fiction hinges with Securistyle ASD1 vector excluders Side hung Securistyle Egress friction hinges and Securistyle ASF1 vector excluders. Titon Select Standard espag handles and Maco mark 1 shootbolt espagnolett and stabilising plates.
TEST PERFORMEDIn accordance with BS 7950:1997 (Specification for enhanced security performance of casement and tilt/turn windows for domestic applications) Section A.6 Mechanicai loading test, Section A.5 Glazing removal test, Section A.4 Manipulation test and section A.7 Manual check test.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS
When tested in accordance with BS 7960:1997 the test results show that window met the requirements of section A.6 Mechanical loading test section A.5 Glazing removal test section A.4 Manipulation test and section A.7 Manual check test.
